Do I need my VIN to order a transmission?
It's strongly recommended. Many models use more than one transmission depending on engine, drivetrain and build date. Your VIN lets us confirm the right transmission code.
What should I do before installing a used transmission?
We recommend professional installation, new transmission fluid of the correct specification, and flushing or replacing the transmission cooler and cooler lines. Some vehicles require programming or a relearn procedure. These steps are required to keep your warranty valid.
Is the torque converter included?
On most automatic transmissions it is, but this varies by unit. We confirm what is included with your specific transmission before you buy.
Does the warranty cover labor?
